Inspired by Giorgione’s enigmatic Three Philosophers, this high-jewellery ring transforms Renaissance inquiry into precious matter. Ancient knowledge, humanist reason and celestial observation converge in layers of Mokume-gane, where metals flow together like the pages of an illuminated cosmology. Coloured diamonds emerge next to the Mokume-Gane surface as wandering planets - fragments of light suspended within an unknowable universe.
Echoing the astrolabes, celestial spheres and philosophical symbols of Giorgione’s Castelfranco world, the ring becomes a cartiglio written not in ink, but in fire, metal and stone: a meditation on wisdom, time and the eternal desire to understand.
