Thanks to his acute curiosity and endless dedication, Brunelleschi was the first artist to describe the system of linear perspective in the early Renaissance. The most majestic of his architectonic works of art is, unquestionably, The Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral in Florence, also known as “Brunelleschi Dome”. The octagonal-based Grand Dome has been the object of engineering studies and has been an imposing European architectural inspiration until now.
