Insects have always been present in art. Paintings of masters like Lorenzo Lotto, Durer, and Cranasc used Bees, Hornet and Butterflies to convey a specific connotation to the subject of the artwork, as well as to depict a certain atmosphere to the represented environment.
I wanted to create a piece that could interact with the energy of the wearer, a dynamic breath of life, delivered by the delicate yet powerful essence of Hornets, capturing the beauty of their form and the timeless allure of their existence.
As I work diligently on these creations, I'm reminded of the enduring connection between art and nature - a tight bond that inspires me to represent the spirit of the world around us.
