Brunelleschi was known as the first modern engineer. Thanks to his acute curiosity and endless dedication, he was the first artist to describe the system of linear perspective in the early Renaissance.
The most majestic of his architectonic works of art is, unquestionably, The Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral in Florence, also known as “Brunelleschi Dome”.
