Saint

SAINT begins with one of the most powerful symbols in our imagination: the sword. Precious metals, diamonds and vivid gemstones transform the blade into jewellery with attitude, presence and a provocative edge.

Rooted in legend. Made for the city.

Chapter I

The Symbol of the Sword

There is an instinctive power in the silhouette of a sword.

Its lines are direct, and its presence is unmistakable. For François, the sword became a way to explore ideas of strength, courage and personal conviction through jewellery.

Its familiar anatomy is reduced, elongated, embellished and transformed. Diamonds follow its edges like flashes of light against steel.

An ancient symbol enters a new language of adornment.

Chapter II

Legends That Never Left

The first spark reaches back to François’ childhood.

Stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table opened a world of legendary swords, honour, courage and chivalry. Their imagery remained in his imagination long after childhood, eventually resurfacing at the jeweller’s bench.

The romance of medieval legend meets the character of contemporary jewellery. The sword remains recognisable, while proportion, precious materials and an unconventional attitude carry it firmly into the present.

"The idea was forming, one that would meld the essence of those age-old legends with the modern aesthetic it had come to be known for." FS

Chapter III

Hands That Remember

Every SAINT piece begins on François Santo's own bench. Trained in his family's jewellery business from the age of 16 and tutored by his jeweller uncle, François went on to train and collaborate with the renowned Italian gem setter, engraver, enameller and painter Elvio Sorrentino, carrying three generations of Roman jewellery-making into his own hands.

Described as "a poet-dreamer wrapped in an engineer's mind," he sketches each design before a single stone is set, and sees every piece through to completion in our Sydney atelier.

Nothing here is designed by committee, and every piece that leaves the bench has passed through the same hands that drew it.

Chapter IV

A Cosmopolitan DNA

SAINT leaves the world of legend and enters the city.

François envisioned a collection with a strong cosmopolitan identity: sophisticated, bold, sensual and unapologetically individual.

Here, the codes of the warrior are translated into the language of contemporary urban life. Sharp silhouettes meet polished surfaces. Historic symbolism appears against leather, tailoring and modern dress. Precious jewellery carries the confidence and tension of the metropolis.

The knight has changed.

The armour has changed with them.

“I was questing for a strong cosmopolitan DNA. Something that could evoke traditions and modernity at the same time. Something bold, strong, sexy and badass." FS

Epilogue

The Legend Continues

SAINT connects a remote world of legend with the energy of contemporary life. Childhood memories of knights and swords become precious objects for a new kind of urban warrior, shaped through François Santo’s craftsmanship and cosmopolitan vision.
